What was the problem?

Philips DAP wanted a high quality coffee machine with a focus on aluminum design, with Aluminium sheets as a base material. The product (Sandblasting) is very difficult due to the specific 3D shape to. Because of our experience and knowledge they came in contact with us.

Problems with their previous product were as follows:

• Poor appearance of the polished surfaces (zebra effect), 

What kind of solutions we have developed?

We have developed a whole new product technology, which includes: punching pieces, cutting, anodizing and gluing joints to the connector, that serves for assembling the final pieces on the apparatus.

We have developed a special motion in grinding, which are adapted to the geometry of the parts. For this goal, we have also developed a specific machine for grinding.
